DEATH VALLEY.......trois.

5:30 am.I`m awake and ready for the morning.Since I quit drinking nearly two years ago,I now find myself looking forward to what the palette in the sky has in store for me.This morning was one of those mornings...

These shots are straight from the camera,no color editing.

Father and son,Daniel and Larry from Apple Valley CA,on "The Stress Leave Trip".Safe travels guys and nice meeting you both.

Nap time.

This is Rainer and Oi from Germany on their trip La Aventura Panamericana. They shipped their Lada,a Russian made car from Germany over for the trip.Ladas are a 4cyl car synonymous with Soviet Bloc countries.I first saw and drove one when I was in GDR (East Berlin)in the seventies.

The Tarantula is a large(up to 6" in diameter)ferocious looking spider, but in reality is harmless to humans.Their venom is weak,a bite is similar to a bee sting( I know,I picked up one last week,it got a little upset and bit me).Right now they`re migrating south for the winter,so they`re a common sight walking across the roads here in Death Valley.

Be Well.

Fantastic photos, as usual; but that spider....
would not have touched me, much less bit me. You're much braver than I.

Death valley seems to be quiet now, without tourists? how about the temperatures?
